I have been working as practitioner since 2008, in both the third and public sector. In the roles I have held, I have supported clients struggling with low mood and depression, loss and bereavement, stress and anxiety, anger, identity, low self-worth, relationships, separation, parental separation, self-harming behaviours, suicidal ideations and more.

I am registered and accredited to work with children, young people, and adults.

My main approach to counselling is person-centred, which emphasises understanding your circumstances from your perspective and helps you find your strength (again) to enjoy the life you wish to live.

In addition to working person-centred, I also draw on techniques from Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Rational Emotive Behaviour Therapy, BRIEF Solution-Focussed Therapy, Systemic Work and creative approaches. This allows us to work together in a tailored way to support and meet your needs best, either long-term or short-term.

While it can be difficult to determine in advance how much support you need, you are always able to choose how many sessions you feel would suit you best.

I'm a fully qualified and senior accredited counsellor with the National Counselling and Psychotherapy Society: NCS17-05245

For my work with children and young people I hold a DBS check, certificate number: 001214050891

I have completed the required online counselling qualification and am ACTO registered, membership number: 1725

I am also a qualified supervisor, providing supervision to counsellors working with children and young people, as well as adults.
